Webmonkey Is Back

web_monkey.gifWebmonkey, an old staple of web development, is back. Webmonkey provides a place for web developers to share what has worked for them, rate what works, find tutorials, and be an all around we developers resource.

At this point, just after the relaunch of the site after it's purchase by CondeNet, the parent of Wired Magazine, there isn't a whole lot of new information from the old Webmonkey. They fired up the monkey bites blog and reloaded the old tutorials and other information that used to be on Webmonkey.

There are some good nuggets of information, though. I've already used their Special Characters Reference and I have been poking around their Python Tutorial.

To power this new site, allow devlopers to create their own articles, and provide for the dynamics we (web developers) want they are using MediaWiki, the same software that powers Wikipedia.
